The Pregnancy Center of Tampa
Begins Birth of a Family Classes
Center director, Sandy Cuculich and her staff have led the way for clients to move towards building stable families for their children. January 27th was the date of the first class, initiating the implementation of Birth of a Family program. Nine clients have been matched with Family Coaches and 20 people are currently participating in the weekly class. The familiar sounds of children in the background garnish the atmosphere with family values.
This diverse group of people gathers with a common goal of learning how to establish a Biblical household. Information is presented by Family Enterprising president, Stuart Carver. His interactive style challenges participants, and ‘coaches’ alike, to consider life perspective and choices from a new framework. Relationships between clients and coaches have been quickly established on the mutual desire to see personal and home-life changes.
The Pregnancy Center counselors are being empowered with this additional resource of hope and support for their clients and babies. Referrals are growing. Congratulations to the Pregnancy Center leadership, volunteers and the partnership with First Baptist of Lutz for embracing this opportunity to see mothers, fathers and children live and grow together in one home. This is just the beginning of many classes to come as enrichment to all The Pregnancy Center offers the community.
